I'm probably behind the power curve but this is the first time I've heard of anti lag use on the Z. I've seen some other cars with it though- srt-4 and supras mainly. The way it was described to me was timing and fuel enrichment is varied so drastically that you actually achieve combustion or burn outside of the combustion chamber (that's why you hear the popping sound) in order to further accelerate exhaust gasses to spool the turbos faster (prob adds some extra mass flow also). Cool idea if you ask me but sounds like it would severely diminish the life of your components. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
